The CERCOM is a research center founded by the Dipartimento di Elettronica (DELEN) and the Dipartimento di Automatica e Informatica (DAUIN) of Politecnico di Torino. It has been approved and funded by the Italian Ministry of education, University and Research in May 2000. Its main objectives are to coordinate and focus a wide range of disciplinary competences in the field of wideband wireless communications, to foster cooperation with the related industries, and to promote high-level permanent education.
